Laundry Room Update

Things are coming right along at our new house, and I wanted to share and document a few of the changes.

The laundry room is not a room that typically causes a lot of excitement, but I really like my new laundry room.  It is very spacious, and once the updates are complete, it will be so useful! And pretty, I hope! :)

These are the plans...

There will be double upper cabinets on each side of the window, and a double lower cabinet with a sink to the left of the washer and dryer as seen in the "before" picture. The cabinets have been ordered and will match the off-white cabinets in the kitchen, as will the counter top around the sink; I am happy that we will be able to use the original preexisting sink.

We hope to decide on a paint color this week, and then fabric will be selected for a Roman shade style curtain.  The preexisting floors were an older type of flooring, and since removing them we've looked at many different options, with the current decision being wood floors to match the other floors in the house.

That's where we are tonight... I will keep you updated. :)

Stay tuned for a Kitchen update.
